Suggestions for Blindfoldcubing
Brian Yu
-DON'T RUSH YOUR MEMO. Memorization comes naturally with practice. Take as long as you need. Slowly you will begin to get faster, you don't have to rush. Once you get sub-1:30 memo times, then you can start rushing a little, but otherwise don't.
-GO FAST AND THINK AHEAD. This is the equivalent of Go slow and look ahead for F2L of regular solving. You want to go quickly, but leave time to think about the next piece you are solving. It always slows you down when you have to pause between shooting to pieces while you think, "Do I shoot to LU next?"
-PRACTICE. This one is obvious. The more you practice, the faster you are.
-PRACTICE INDIVIDUAL STEPS SEPARATELY. I do this all the time, and this is how I became extremely fast at memo. Time yourself on "memo-only" or "execution-only" or "edges-only" or "corners-only"
