Speedcubing tips

Speedcubing Tips

So you have learned how to speed cube, but can’t see how to get any faster. Well, my dear fellow reader you have come to the right website.

Speedcubing tips:

· Learn a speed cubing method- Pretty obvious but, it does not hurt to say it again. If you use the beginner method, that is great , but there is a very low chance that you will actually get your time down to 12 seconds. So use a Speedcubing Method such as Fridrich, Roux, Petrus, etc.

· Have a positive attitude- Always be positive while speed cubing, even if you are frustrated. Think about it, Thomas Edison didn’t get frustrated when he couldn’t get the light bulb to light, he kept trying and that is exactly what you should do.

· Go slow and look ahead. Oh, you did not catch that here it is again

GO SLOW AND LOOK AHEAD!!!!!!

You might be wondering, what how can I go slow and still be fast? Well, you can ask any speedcuber how can someone get fast times if they go slow, this is what their answer could be: “ Looking ahead means, you can predict and infer what is you are going to do next”. Yes, that is true and something you must understand in order to be a fast and successful speedcuber.

· Use a good cube- this one is a no-brainer. You can’t expect to be the greatest speedcuber of all time, with a 1dollar store cube (In my cubing experience, THEY SUCK !) Always use a smooth and lubricated cube. This ensures that you won’t have a hurting wrist and you will be able to get the quick times. I personally use Silicon and sanding to lubricate, I STRONGLY suggest you do the same.

· And finally the most important tip in speed cubing and in a lot of other sports/hobbies………….

Practice..Practice..Practice..Practice and Practice
