When will the WR for the 3x3 cube will be broken?
So when will the world record for 3x3 cube will be broken? Honestly, I have no idea, but it will be an awesome time. I meanĀ less than 7 seconds? How will that be possible? Someone will have to completely dominate the Fridrich method or another method to get a time of 6.xx seconds. In the future, I am sure new methods/ ideas will develop around the Fridrich method, making it even faster. Having these new records will make it more difficult to new cubers to get to world record speeds. That is good because the world of speedcubing will get better and better. It will attract more attention worldwide. So who will actually hold this new World Record? Only time will tell obviously. Some possible candidates for the new WR will be Erik, Yu Nakijima, Harris Chan, etc... Now just imagine a sub 7 average. Now that is going to be truly amazing...
